Coldshield is a market leader in the manufacture of commercial and industrial doors. We're currently seeking an energetic and reliable Trade Assistant to join our production team. This role would suit someone with a trade background who is looking to transition into a factory/production environment.

About the Role

You'll play a key role in the assembly and preparation of our industry-leading products. Daily tasks will include:

  • Preparing and assembling commercial and industrial doors
  • Cutting and machining aluminium and PVC sheet using CNC equipment (training provided)
  • Assisting with picking and packing client orders
  • Learning and applying basic 12/24v wiring (optional training provided)
  • Using a wide variety of hand and power tools

This role would suit an individual with:

  • Experience in manufacturing, aluminium, or joinery (preferred)
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
  • A current forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
  • A solid work ethic and team-focused attitude
  • A commitment to safety, quality, and meeting deadlines
