About the role

As a Restaurant Supervisor at The Square (hosted by Golf Square) you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our busy on-site restaurant. This full-time position is based in Sunshine North, VIC 3020, and you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's day-to-day activities.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervising and coordinating the front-of-house team, including waitstaff, hostesses, and bussers
  • Ensuring exceptional customer service and a positive dining experience for all guests
  • Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and monitoring food and beverage costs
  • Addressing customer complaints and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Implementing and enforcing company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Providing training and development opportunities for the restaurant team
  • Assisting the General Manager with administrative tasks and reporting

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure setting
  • Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for the hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in inventory management and cost control
  • Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend shifts

Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
