The Role

We are seeking an experienced Draftsman to join our Sydney CBD team on a full-time, 6-month contract (with potential for extension). You will be responsible for producing detailed drawings, layouts, and fit-out documentation for a range of in-house development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Import and refine survey and as-built drawings (DWG/DXF/PDF).
  • Develop internal layouts, space planning, and joinery details.
  • Prepare fit-out drawings, elevations, sections, and details for approvals.
  • Create internal mockups, sketches, and design iterations for review.
  • Coordinate with consultants, certifiers, and project managers.
  • Maintain drawing accuracy, version control, and compliance with codes and standards.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years' drafting experience in commercial and/or residential interiors.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit, ArchiCAD, or SketchUp desirable).
  • Proven experience working with survey/as-built drawings.
  • Knowledge of BCA/NCC standards and council approval processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
