An Executive-Level Opportunity for a Manager - People & Culture Leader in Adelaide

About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the workforce. This is a hands-on, strategic position where you will oversee key specialist functions and lead a dedicated team to deliver on business objectives and regulatory requirements.

You will be responsible for a broad and impactful portfolio, including:

  • Human Resources Leadership: Partner with the HR Manager to ensure responsive and contemporary HR operations. You'll drive key initiatives in performance development, change management, and succession planning to build a high-performing team.
  • Work Health and Safety (WHS) & Wellbeing: Provide strategic oversight to the WHS team, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace that aligns with legislation and best practice. You will also lead the Return-to-Work function, championing person-centred recovery programs.
  • Governance, Policy & Compliance: Supervise the delivery of internal governance and policy lifecycle management. Your role will be to ensure cross-functional alignment with NDIS Practice Standards, Fair Work legislation, and all other compliance obligations.
  • Strategic & Operational Leadership: Act as a key conduit between executive priorities and operational delivery. You will lead strategic projects, provide high-level advice, and actively contribute to the implementation of DLi's Workforce Experience Framework and other business improvement initiatives.

About You

We're looking for a candidate who is more than just a manager—you are a leader who inspires and influences. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven Senior-Level Experience: A strong track record in HR, WHS, RTW, compliance, or governance, with a relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Strategic & Operational Expertise: The ability to manage cross-functional projects, report on key metrics, and navigate risk effectively.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: You build trust, communicate with tact, and navigate complex situations with ease.
  • Resilience and Adaptability: You thrive in dynamic environments and are a proactive problem-solver.
  • A Commitment to Values: A genuine dedication to human rights and the dignity of individuals with disabilities.
