RSM is seeking a Temporary Project Specialist to join our practice. We are seeking a self-motivated, professional and responsible individual to focus on support services for our clients. Duties include assisting with delivering outstanding services to our clients. Additional responsibilities could include meeting with clients and conducting projects, working directly with client personnel to complete consulting services and discuss results. A Project Specialist is expected to assist with or prepare reports on services performed for clients, delivering reports where appropriate and discussing results with clients. A successful Project Specialist completes client projects effectively and efficiently and maintaining a high level of proficiency and develops an understanding of client business objectives.
Basic Qualifications:
- Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and commonly used accounting software
- Decision making, problem solving and analytical skills
- High level of professionalism, excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Limited travel
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of work experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated understanding or certification in common accounting business practices including payroll, bookkeeping, financial statements, reporting and account reconciliations

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $20 - $30 per hour-
