Good food, great times and even better beer  Urban Alley Brewery has been serving the people of Melbourne since A fully Independent Craft Brewery (with multiple awards for our beers), a wholesale business in rapid growth, a 790 capacity Brew Pub in Docklands, Brewpub @ Knox Ozone and a Brewpub & Gin Bar at Chadstone with more to be rolled out over the next few years

Due to sustained growth and popular demand our 3rd Brew Pub in Chadstone's Social Quarter has outgrown its original location.  A fantastic opportunity exists for the right candidate to oversee the transition to larger premises and make their mark on this exciting evolution.

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef, someone who takes pride in what they do and wants to grow. Working closing with our experienced Head Chef and Venue Manager, you will ensure that every dish we put out is to the highest standards; we will provide you with the platform to get noticed.

Person we are looking for:

  • Passionate about food
  • Strong leader
  • Able to help maintain high standards set by head chef.
  • Flexible with days worked.
  • Great under pressure
  • Has worked in similar role.
  • Help, produce and maintain an environment of learning and professionalism.
  • Ensuring that all foods are stored and prepared in a safe and hygienic manner.
  • Possess the highest standards in kitchen hygiene and food safety.
  • Help maintain a great working environment and culture.
  • Proven track record in similar role
  • 2 years' experience in similar role
