This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a holistic and strategic approach to the staffing and daily academic operations of Geelong Grammar School Campuses- Corio, Toorak, and Timbertop (ELC- Year 12).
About the role:
The Head of Academic Operations, Strategy is responsible for the following tasks:
- Coordinating and centrally documenting staffing allocations in conjunction with key stakeholders
- Ensuring staff load allocation policies are adhered to
- Leading the building and maintenance of the timetable for Corio campus ELC-12
- Providing logistical support for subject selection processes
- Conducting and providing student academic testing data
- Managing internal examination schedules (10 & 11)
- Overseeing the Daily Organisation (allocation of extras) and calendar in conjunction with the administrative support officer for Corio
- Teaching, as required (1 block-0.21 Teaching load)
- Leading and managing direct reports
- Participating as a Member of the Leadership Team Corio (LTC)
About you:
The successful candidate for this role will have:
- Experience in a similar operational and strategic role
- Experience with problem solving
- Experience leading strategic projects in a school setting
- Constructed timetables within a school setting
- Worked in a leadership role coordinating staff
