Dive into Perth's fast-paced news hub As a 9News Producer, you'll be at the sharp end, crafting top-tier content that grabs our audience and keeps them informed. Own the Broadcast, from shaping content to mastering the line up, you're the key to a flawless show..

Ready to make Perth's news shine?

Day to day you will:

  • Fuel Audience Engagement & support the creation of compelling, viewer focused content.
  • Develop, research, script, and edit impactful stories.
  • Spot the Buzz, Identify resonant stories and angles that grab viewers.
  • Guarantee content is factually correct and adheres to legal requirements.
  • Problem-solve on-air issues and manage bulletin line up (Mosart/ENPS).
Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Relevant degree in journalism or hands-on control room experience.
  • Possess a strong understanding of news and current affairs.
  • Experience in TV, radio, or other news media environments.
  • Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
  • Have a solid grasp of media law and familiarity with broadcast systems like ENPS.
