About the role

Dermatology SA Pty Ltd is seeking a friendly and experienced Medical Receptionist/Administrator to join our team working in Dulwich, South Australia. We currently have a full time and part time position, offering flexible work arrangements to suit your lifestyle. As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our busy dermatology practice.

What you'll be doing

  • Greet and welcome patients, providing a warm and professional reception experience
  • Manage patient enquiries, bookings and appointments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Assist with patient registration and documentation, ensuring all records are accurately maintained
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, filing and managing inventory
  • Liaise with medical staff and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or Administrator, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and professional manner
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using medical practice software and standard office applications
  • A genuine interest in the healthcare industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and afternoons
  • Flexibility to work at Salisbury or Mt Barker when required
