About the role

As a Plumber at Vertex plumbing and excavations', you will play a role in providing high-quality plumbing services across the Melbourne region. This is a full-time position, where you will be responsible for a wide range of plumbing tasks, from general plumbing for new homes to maintenance and emergency repairs and drainage. Roofing experience a bonus but not required.

What you'll be doing

  1. Identifying and resolving plumbing issues in residential and commercial properties
  2. Installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of plumbing systems, such as water supply, drainage and gas for high end domestic housing
  3. Providing prompt and efficient emergency plumbing services when required
  4. Advising customers on plumbing matters and recommended solutions
  5. Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, in compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  6. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  7. Collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional customer service

What we're looking for

  1. Qualified plumber, registered or licensed
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a plumber in the trades and services industry
  3. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  4. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Commitment to safety and attention to detail
  7. Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
