About The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join Health Infrastructure as our Principal, Design. You will play a critical role in shaping how we embed best-practice design across the capital works program. You'll lead the implementation of our Design Assurance program and provide expert advice to capital project teams and our Executive Leadership Team; manage the relationship with NSW Government Architect and our industry design partners. The role ensures that HI capital projects are delivered in accordance with the
Design Guide for Health
(GANSW, April 2023) and aligns with HI's Strategic objectives. This role is a unique opportunity to influence design quality and performance, drive continuous improvement, and guide strategic relationships.

This is a full-time ongoing position. Remuneration will be determined with the successful candidate.

Please note that as Health Infrastructure is an organisation of NSW Health, the successful applicant must reside in NSW or be willing to relocate if appointed.

This recruitment may be used to create a Talent Pool for similar future roles (ongoing or temporary) that may arise over the next 18 months.

About You
You are an accomplished design leader with extensive expertise in the planning, design and delivery of complex capital infrastructure, ideally with a strong background in health services facilities. You combine technical knowledge of design standards and certification requirements with practical experience influencing built design outcomes across planning, design, and delivery stages for our health capital projects.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, guiding teams through complex problems, and shaping processes that drive improved outcomes.

*It is essential that you have a degree in Architecture or a degree that is recognised by the NSW Architects Registration Board.*
You must also be registered with the NSW Register of Architects.
