From our factory in Yatala, Queensland, we produce a super quality product range of vehicle and caravan awnings, camping pegs, poles, guide ropes and other handy accessories, all of which have been designed and built for Australian conditions.

The Role

Supa Peg is seeking the services of an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist on a full time basis.

The duties of the role involve assisting with the production of our canvas 4X4 awnings and caravan annex products.

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience in an industrial sewing role working with heavy material such as canvas or upholstery is preferred;
  • The ability to read and follow standard operation procedures;
  • The ability to work out the construction of products from drawings or samples;
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality;
  • Be physically fit enough to work with items a few metres in size;
  • The ability to work independently;
  • Good organisation skills including maintaining a neat work environment;
  • Good verbal communication skills;
  • The ability to work with members of the team and trouble-shoot issues;
  • A positive attitude and great work ethic.
