ROLE PURPOSE
The Social Compliance Analyst will support the management of Winc's sustainability and compliance framework by overseeing systems across all suppliers, products, and services. Working closely with the Head of Social Impact and key business stakeholders, managing a value-adding compliance program that reinforces Winc's commitment to sustainability and social responsibility for both our business and customers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Ethical Sourcing
- Monitor and support Winc's ethical sourcing program across the supply chain.
- Conduct supplier assessments and audits (e.g., SMETA, BSCI, SA800) and track corrective actions.
- Analyse performance data and support supplier onboarding and compliance.
- Work with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and maintain Winc's social compliance framework.
Climate Change & Emissions
- Collect, analyse, and report Scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions.
- Track progress against climate targets and support reduction strategies.
- Research policies, technologies, and best practices for emissions reduction.
- Contribute to scenario modelling and risk assessments.
Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
- Prepare internal and external sustainability reports and disclosures (e.g., GRI, MSS, EcoVadis).
- Maintain compliance documentation and respond to sales-related ESG inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company, legislative, and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams and engage customers on ESG objectives.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen compliance systems and reporting.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Previous experience with compliance management in either emissions tracking and/or ethical sourcing.
- Understanding of Sedex SMETA, BSCI, SA8000 auditing standards and other social auditing programs.
- Strong communicator with exceptional problem solving and negotiations skills, including process enhancements.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to enable and support effective ongoing compliance activities.
- A great attitude, commitment, and a strong desire to learn and grow within our business.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and autonomously.
