The Gig
As our
Director of Revenue
, you will play a pivotal role in driving the hotel's financial performance by developing and implementing effective pricing strategies, analysing market trends, and maximising revenue across all channels.
You'll lead forecasting and performance reporting, oversee inventory and group allocations, and identify opportunities to optimise occupancy and profitability. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Food & Beverage, and Front Office, you'll ensure revenue strategies align with broader business objectives.
A key part of your role will be mentoring and training the Reservations team, improving conversion rates, and delivering exceptional guest booking experiences. You'll also lead weekly revenue meetings, review competitor actions, track demand generators, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic planning, commercial acumen, and cross-department collaboration to ensure the hotel maintains its competitive edge.
About You
- We are looking for an experienced revenue leader with at least 5 years in hotel revenue management and a strong background in sales, marketing, and operations.
- You will have proven expertise in pricing strategies, forecasting models, and revenue management systems, coupled with exceptional analytical and commercial acumen.
- A bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, finance, or a related field is preferred, along with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills are key, as you will guide cross-functional teams and mentor the Reservations department to achieve outstanding results.
- You're collaborative, solutions-focused and ready to roll up your sleeves to support the team whenever needed.
