About the role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Electrician to join our team at Brett Ridge Electrical & Clean Energy South West in Busselton. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical services to a range of residential and commercial clients, as well as being apart of our renewable energy division. This is a full-time position, offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs to residential and commercial properties
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults
  • Providing advice and recommendations to clients on electrical systems and upgrades
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant electrical and safety regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed
  • Contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the electrical team
  • Installation of Grid connected Solar PV & Battery Systems

What we're looking for

  • Completed trade qualification as an Electrician, with a valid WA electrical licence
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as an Electrician, preferably in the residential or commercial sectors
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and understand electrical plans & drawings
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team
  • Commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of electrical safety standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work to deadlines
  • Current Australian Electrical Worker Licence or Electrician's Licence
  • Current full Australian driver's licence
  • Current Construction White Card (General Construction Induction Training)
  • Experience with Solar PV & battery systems (desirable)
  • SAA grid connect PV System Accreditation (desirable)
  • SAA grid connect Battery Storage Accreditation (desirable)
