Location: WA – FIFO from Perth

Roster: 2 weeks on / 1 week off

Employment Type: Contracted

Division: Construction & Infrastructure (Green Projects and Upgrades)

Reports To: Project Manager

Commencement: Immediate Start Required

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This position plays a key leadership role in overseeing electrical construction works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mining infrastructure and greenfield construction, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, manage teams, and uphold WEG's reputation for excellence.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical works on site in accordance with project specifications, schedules, and safety standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage site-based electrical teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with WEG safety procedures, QA/QC requirements, and client standards.
  • Liaise with clients, site representatives, and project stakeholders to maintain positive working relationships.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and provide timely reporting to the Project Manager.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Review drawings, scope, and work packs to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to execution.
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability on site.

Qualifications & Experience
  • WA A Grade Electrical Licence.
  • Schedule 26 Statutory Compliance - Highly desired but not essential.
  • Proven supervisory experience in mining, construction, or non-process infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, switchboards, and distribution, understanding and reading construction drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with FIFO operations and remote site management.
  • Current Driver's Licence and Construction White Card.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional client-facing manner.
