We are seeking expressions of interest for a Culture and Capability Advisor to join our People and Culture division on a Parental Leave cover until October 2026 to contribute to and enhance our culture and therefore, the employee experience.

- Base salaryrange of $88, 235 - $112,000 (dependant on skills and experience) plus Superannuation
The Opportunity
As the Culture and Capability Advisor you will contribute to and support the development and implementation of initiatives led by the Organisational Culture and Learning & Capability teams, helping to embed our values and promote the desired Hunter Water culture.
What you'll do:
- Support the embedding and tracking of the refreshed Our Values Strategy
- Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure culture and capability initiatives are integrated across the organisation
- Contribute to the design and delivery of initiatives that enhance employee experience, ensuring people feel valued, included, and connected to the organisation's purpose and culture
- Analyse data from culture surveys, and capability assessments to help inform planning for a future ready workforce
- Prepare and assist with the presentation of relevant survey findings and recommendations to sponsors and key stakeholders
- Support projects and activities that are part of our Values driven culture and Learning and Leadership program of works. This includes the focus on talent management and succession planning tools for the business
- Contribute to the development of communication and engagement plans that support Culture, Change, CI&I and capability initiatives
What you'll need to be successful:
Essential Criteria:
- Demonstrated interest in and understanding of organisational culture, with the ability to contribute to initiatives that shape values, behaviours, and employee experience.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations that support culture and capability initiatives.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and manage workload expectations accordingly.
Desirable Criteria:
- Understanding of and experience in a People and Culture team
- Understanding of Change Management, Continuous Improvement and Innovation and Learning and leadership development principles
- Process mapping
