Our client, a family-owned jewel nestled on the Great Dividing Range in Queensland, is seeking a General Manager to lead its operations.

As their General Manager, you will be at the heart of the business. Your primary focus will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the holiday park, from ensuring seamless guest services to maintaining its extensive grounds and facilities. They thrive on the energy of peak seasons, school holidays, long weekends, and special events and need a leader with the drive and presence to be right in the middle of it all.

When things slow down, you won't be bored. This is your time to shine by driving forward strategic projects that build the brand. You'll lead everything from capital works and trail development to new youth programs and exciting ventures that will help them grow. Your Experience & Attributes:

  • Customer First: You have a genuine passion for hospitality and a knack for creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • Leadership & Management: You're skilled at managing staff, rosters, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Financial Savvy: You're comfortable working with budgets, reporting, and meeting KPIs.

Key Deliverables: Your Impact

  • Operations: Lead daily operations, ensure top-tier guest experiences during peak periods, and maintain full compliance across all aspects of the park.
  • Events: Deliver successful weekly and weekend functions, while growing event revenue and building the business's reputation as a premier events destination.
  • Growth: Drive occupancy and repeat visitation, introduce new ventures like nature-based programs, and foster guest loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning: Translate a vision into actionable annual plans, manage capital works, and report on business performance.

  • Groceries Allowance: $10,400 p.a.
  • Electricity provided: $3,500 p.a.
