Surface and Underground Diamond Drillers - WA

HMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface drilling, mining and raiseboring services to clients across Australia.

We are currently seeking Surface and Underground Diamond Drillers to join our team for work in Western Australia.

If you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter, we want to hear from you These roles are full-time positions based on long-term contracts.

The Role

  • 7/7 & 14/7 & 14/14 rosters
  • Residential Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth
  • Underground and surface work available
  • Accommodation & messing provided
  • Full-time permanent positions
  • Competitive hourly rates & bonuses

Requirements of the role

  • Competently operate HMR's range of drill rigs including Skid Steer, Mobile Rigs and Longyear platform drill rigs (underground) and UDR 1200 and UDR1000s (surface)
  • Successfully drill holes to design depth and recover core samples as per client requirements
  • Responsible for mentoring, training and overseeing Drill Assistants
  • Contribute to safety and productivity improvements

Essentials:

  • The ability to meet pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening, medical and police clearance is required.
  • Fit, healthy and motivated
  • Current Manual Driver's License – Underground
  • Current Heavy Rigid Manual Driver's License - Surface
  • First aid qualifications
  • Australian or NZ residents - Full working rights in Australia
