We're working with a leading professional services firm to appoint a Senior Consultant within their growing CFO Advisory Services practice. This is a client-facing role suited to CA-qualified finance professionals with experience in audit, financial reporting, or finance transformation who are looking to broaden into advisory.

Our client is a highly regarded professional services firm with a strong national presence and international reach. Their CFO Advisory team partners with clients across diverse industries to provide solutions in finance transformation, reporting improvement, accounting advisory, and compliance. They foster a collaborative, people-first culture that prioritises professional growth, exposure to high-profile projects, and access to global resources.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver client projects across finance transformation, reporting tools implementation, and technical accounting advisory
  • Assist with finance function assessments, audit readiness, and accounting policy development
  • Manage deliverables in line with scope, timeline, and budget, working closely with managers and partners
  • Coach and support junior team members, contributing to capability development within the group
  • Engage directly with clients to provide insights and build strong relationships
  • Contribute to business development initiatives through proposals and thought leadership

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • CA (or equivalent), qualified or near completion
  • 3+ years' experience in professional services, commerce, or a mix of both
  • Background in audit, technical accounting, financial reporting, management accounting, or finance transformation
  • Strong project management, client communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of AASB, Corporations Act, and regulatory frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); exposure to reporting tools or ERP systems highly regarded
