We are seeking an Individual in our Sales Dept, that shares a passion for the meat industry and to join a team that love what they do and who are passionate about quality and customer service.

Melrina Wholesale Meats is a leading carton meat wholesaler located in Mile End South with a supportive Culture and friendly Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Connect and maintain existing clientele whilst developing new business opportunities
  • Review sales reporting, determine budgeted sales and objectives (KPI's).
  • Achieve KPI's and meet quarterly targets
  • Work co-operatively and competitively within a busy sales team environment
  • Provide market updates, resolve customer enquiries, and set goals for future periods
  • Maintain customer pricing and margins

Job requirements:

  • Meat Industry experience beneficial
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Customer focus orientated
  • Sales and trading focus
  • Experience in Sales and Business Development
  • High level of self-motivation and be a Team Player
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities efficiently.
  • Ability to negotiate and close deals
