Engineering Manager – Innovative Cleaning Technology

As we expand further into the UK, EU and new growth categories like robotics, we are searching for an Engineering Manager to anchor our technical team and help shape the future of professional cleaning.

About the Role

This newly created position will be the technical heart of Pacvac's engineering team. You'll lead a talented group of mechanical, electrical, and firmware engineers, driving integration across disciplines to deliver innovative, reliable, and user-focused products.

You'll oversee system design and architecture, make critical technical decisions, and ensure engineering outcomes align with our commercial strategy. The role is hands-on and future-focused — solving today's challenges while shaping tomorrow's innovations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional engineering teams and mentor senior engineers.

Guide product architecture, design reviews, and technical risk assessments.

Drive the development of cordless systems, robotics, and automation solutions.

Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver user-centric solutions.

Oversee testing, validation, compliance and certification (CE, UL, ISO).

Support Pacvac's expansion into global markets and new product categories.

About You

We're looking for a leader with deep technical knowledge across electronics, firmware, batteries and mechanical systems, paired with proven success in commercial product development. You'll bring:

10+ years' product development experience, with 5+ in leadership roles.

Hands-on experience delivering hardware to market.

Strong systems integration skills and a passion for innovation.

Strategic mindset with the ability to contribute at leadership level.
