About the role:

Western Health is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Sonographers to join our growing team in delivering high-quality ultrasound services to our community. We have opportunities available for both full-time and part-time positions.

Western Health Medical Imaging (WHMI) is at the forefront of providing diagnostic and interventional imaging to the patients of Melbourne's west. We offer a comprehensive range of multi-modality examinations and have experienced exponential growth, now performing over 190,000 examinations annually.

Our highly skilled Sonographers provide services across Footscray, Williamstown, and Sunshine (including Joan Kirner Women's and Children's) campuses. Joining WHMI means becoming part of a dynamic, cohesive team with exposure to a wide range of ultrasound practice areas, including:

• Extended abdominal scanning with contrast and shearwave elastography
• Vascular imaging
• Musculoskeletal (MSK)
• General ultrasound
• Paediatrics
• Advanced obstetrics and gynaecology (O&G)

About you

• Hold current ASAR accreditation
• Demonstrate strong technical skills across a wide range of ultrasound examinations
• Exhibit a high level of emotional intelligence, compassion, and patient-centred care
