This is an exciting opportunity to step into a senior leadership role in CT Imaging, as we expand our CT services to include a state-of-the-art photon counting CT scanner embedded in ED. This significant service expansion will transform imaging delivery in emergency care and improve access for our most acute patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership of the CT service to ensure evidence based best practice and contemporary models of care
  • Ensure effective and efficient flow of patients through the CT department, delivering high quality imaging
  • Provide clinical leadership to all staff that work in CT, including education to undergraduate, intern and qualified Radiographers and ensure compliance with departmental protocols
  • Support a collaborative working environment and contribute to achieving clinical excellence and teamwork
Essential qualifications and experience
  • Current AHPRA registration through MPRBA as a Medical Radiation Practitioner
  • Current Radiation Use Licence (Victorian Department of Health)
  • High level of specialist radiographic knowledge in CT
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in CT
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Digital literacy and demonstrated initiative with the ability to develop innovative solutions
  • Commitment to live the Melbourne Way – putting people first, leading with kindness and achieving excellence together
Desirable
  • Postgraduate CT qualification
  • Further education in leadership and management
  • Previous experience in a senior supervisory role
