Our Client is seeking an accomplished Senior Construction Manager to take on a critical leadership role overseeing the safe, timely and cost-effective delivery of major mining projects.

In this role, you'll lead construction execution across a diverse portfolio, ensuring the highest standards in HSE, quality, cost and schedule performance. Working client-side, you will coordinate contractors and vendors, manage construction priorities, and drive best-practice delivery from commencement through to commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary construction team across major projects.
  • Oversee all site operations, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, company standards and statutory requirements.
  • Manage budgets, schedules and deliverables to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to specification.
  • Provide strong leadership in EHS compliance and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Engage with contractors, stakeholders and senior management, maintaining transparency and trust.
  • Ensure quality standards are met throughout the construction lifecycle and assets are handed over seamlessly to operations.

About You

  • 20+ years in the construction field, with 10+ years in senior management roles.
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale mining or heavy industry projects (NPI, process infrastructure, or major earthworks).
  • Strong background managing EPC/EPCM/Damp;C/TK contracts (client-side preferred).
  • Diploma in Construction Management or trade background (additional WHS qualifications highly regarded).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication and risk-management skills.
