About The Business
Asset Services is an integrated multi-trade services provider specialising in solutions to critical asset owners and property managers. We operate in critical infrastructure environments such as airports, defense, retail centers, healthcare, rail, transport, logistics. We have a team of 220 dedicated professionals that deliver maintenance services & minor works projects for Fire, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Building Services.

About The Opportunity
We have an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a Fire Technician to join our Asset Services team based at Hendra.

As a Passive Fire Technician for CV Asset Services, you will be responsible for:

• Performing Passive fire systems equipment repairs, upgrades, and renewals
• Servicing, inspecting, and testing passive fire systems including fire doors and penetrations as per Australian standards.

As you will be working in secure and sensitive environments, you
MUST
also be able to obtain a current police clearance.

About You
Are you the person CV needs? If you can answer yes to the points below, you just might be

• Complete and pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screening
• QBCC Licensed in the passive stream and carpentry
• Current C class manual driver's license
• Demonstrated experience in the passive fire sector
• Cert 2 qualifications in portables and fire blankets would be advantageous
• Dedicated commitment to Australian standards, regulations, and safe work practices
• Proven computer literacy, tablet and smart phone
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment to effectively complete task requirements
