St Joseph's Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) is located on the grounds of the St Joseph's Catholic School in Mount Isa, in the suburb of Happy Valley.
Consisting of two large rooms opening out onto our beautiful playground, we offer various activities and experiences in indoor and outdoor settings, giving children freedom of choice every day.

St Joseph's OSHC are seeking Educators on both a permanent part time and casual basis:

  • Permanent part time for 20 hours per week, working a mix of split shifts 7am-9am and 2pm-5.30pm (+ split shift allowance)
  • Casual positions

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Working towards or hold an ACECQA approved OSHC qualification (preferred) such as Education Support, Bachelor of Nursing etc.
  • Keen interest in working within the childcare/education sector
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Current First Aid Certificate Including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis or ability to obtain before commencement
  • The ability to work effectively in a close-knit team environment
