We are seeking a casual Educator (Children's Services Employee) to join our team at St Agnes' Outside School Hours Care based in Mt Gravatt. 

St Agnes Outside School Hours Care is part of St Agnes Catholic Primary School and Holland Park Mt Gravatt Parish community. Our service operates before school, after school and vacation care. We are licensed to provide care for up to 150 children.

We offer a fun, safe space where children can join in activities or play freely with friends. Our goal is to create a home away from home, where kids feel a sense of ownership and help shape the program and routines.

Reporting to the Coordinator, we are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic educator who is passionate about supporting school aged children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy and safe environment.

Job Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services (or working towards) would be desirable.
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning framework and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
  • Effective oral and written communication within the workplace
