About the role

Samford Pines Child Care and Early Learning Centre is seeking passionate and experienced early childhood educators to join our team. We have multiple part-time roles available, including Nursery Lead Educator, Educational Leader, and Assistant Educator. These positions offer the opportunity to work in a nurturing, supportive environment, contributing to the development and learning of young children.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery, with a focus on creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment
  • Developing and implementing educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and support the holistic development of each child
  • Collaborating with the Educational Leader to oversee the centre's educational program and ensure continuous quality improvement
  • Supporting and mentoring fellow educators, promoting a positive and collaborative team culture
  • Maintaining accurate records, documenting children's progress, and communicating effectively with families
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the early childhood education sector

What we're looking for

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of child development and pedagogy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A current First Aid certificate and working with children check or willingness to obtain these
