The opportunity
Are you a relationship-builder with a passion for innovation? Ready to champion cutting-edge drilling solutions and make a real impact in the resources sector? IMDEX is looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Representative to lead the charge in promoting our industry-leading products and services across the Eastern states. This position offers flexibility to be based in any Eastern state location.
As the face of IMDEX to our clients, you'll play a pivotal role in driving growth and delivering value. Your day-to-day will include:
- Marketing and selling IMDEX's Drilling Fluids to both existing and potential customers
- Rolling out strategic client contact plans to launch new products and spark meaningful sales campaigns
- Serving as the go-to expert for client inquiries, ensuring fast and effective solutions
- Crafting tailored solutions that align with each client's goals and operational needs
To be successful
We're looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships and driving results. The successful candidate will have exceptional Sales and Account management skills with significant experience in either the resources, exploration, drilling or construction industry. Training with IMDEX products will be provided.
You will also bring:
- 2+ years' experience in a similar role or within the mineral resource drilling industry
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations
- Willingness to travel to remote mine sites (minimum 1 week per month) — we'll equip you with a company car, laptop, and phone
- Confidence using Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with Pronto is a bonus
- Strong planning, analytical, and decision-making skills
