What's Involved
- Provide a professional HR business partnering service to line managers across the entire employee life cycle.
- First point of contact and intermediary for line managers and employees.
- Coach line managers on people management practices.
- Implement HR-related programs including, but not limited to, value-adding employee development initiatives, delivering information sessions on core HR activities, and assisting stakeholders with HR processes and systems.
- Consult and support line managers in relation to grievances and disciplinary issues including performance and/or conduct, and conduct, where required, investigations.
- Develop line manager knowledge and capability in people management matters.
You'll Need
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, or significant experience in a similar role.
- A demonstrated working knowledge of employment law and industrial relations legislation, including interpreting and applying a range of industrial instruments.
- Experience in developing and implementing people-related policies and procedures.
- Previous hands-on experience leading workplace investigations, making recommendations, and assisting in solving complex problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including well-developed negotiation and influencing capabilities.
