Safemaster Safety Products Pty Ltd, T/As Accent Safety Systems offers a complete range of fall prevention solutions for any bespoke height safety project on 'end to end' life cycle including consultation, design/engineering, manufacture, installation and recertification services.

As a result of Accent Safety Systems's continued growth and success, we have a newly created role for a Design Draftsperson / Estimator. This is a full-time position, reporting to the Managing Director, working in the sales department alongside our in-house engineering and design team in Ravenhall.

About the role

The applicant is responsible to design and draw fall prevention systems by operating AutoCAD. Applicants will evaluate customer specifications and determine solutions to improve their project within budget. Some site measure works may be required.

Skills and experience

Applicants will need the following:

  • Must be proficient in using AutoCAD software;
  • Knowledge of working at heights legislation and standards;
  • Able to read structural and architectural drawings (essential);
  • Good understanding of BOQ;
  • Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic;
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure;
  • Able to plan work and set and meet realistic deadlines;
  • Good communication skills within the team and when dealing with clients
  • Experience in the building industry is ESSENTIAL

Experience:

  • Drafting: 2 years (Preferred)
  • AutoCAD: 1 years (Preferred)
  • Estimating: 1 years (Preferred)

Work Eligibility:

Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident)
