About Us

The Bardo Health and Wellness is a boutique, home-style recovery and wellness retreat located at the northern end of The Gold Coast. We provide a range of services including detox and rehabilitation, mental health support, NDIS services, respite care, and holistic therapies. With a maximum of three guests at a time, we pride ourselves on offering personalised, one-on-one support in a warm, nurturing environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Enrolled Nurse/Support Worker to join our small, dedicated team. This role involves supporting clients through their recovery journey, providing both clinical and practical care, and assisting with daily living needs. You will work closely with our therapists, trainers, and counsellors to ensure each guest receives holistic, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality support and care in line with individual recovery plans
  • Assist with medication administration and basic health monitoring
  • Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Encourage clients in their therapy, wellness, and recovery activities
  • Maintain accurate and professional documentation and records
  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all guests

About You

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (or experience as a Support Worker in mental health/addiction/NDIS settings)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and non-judgemental approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a small, multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to adapt to the needs of our guests
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening (or willingness to obtain)
