About the role

Stahmann Webster is looking for a hands-on ICT Operations and Security Manager to provide effective, stable, and secure ICT infrastructure and applications.  The role reports to the General Manager ICT and leads a small internal team spread across QLD and NSW as well as working with managed services providers.

To be effective in this role you need to have excellent communication skills with a customer focused approach.  You have good experience working in a hybrid Windows / Azure / Office 365 environment and have a good understanding of firewalls and networks (both WANs and LANs).  You enjoy training new staff and ensuring that internal housekeeping is up to date.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Contribute to the development of Infrastructure and Security strategies.
• Drive the research, implementation, and ongoing improvement of Infrastructure and Security initiatives.
• Manage local and cloud infrastructure, including backups from provisioning to support and maintenance.
• Manage the cyber security framework and compliance.
• Performance monitoring and reporting
• Train and develop direct reports.
• Develop standards and procedures.
• Maintain the Support Helpdesk for the timely resolution of all requests.
• Maintain relationships with Vendors and managed services providers.
• Ensure infrastructure documentation is up to date.
• Disaster recovery & business continuity, minimising unplanned downtime.
• Travel to other sites as needed.

Essential Criteria, Skills and Experience

• 5 years working in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in ICT or related discipline.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Australian Driver's Licence.
• Ability to travel for work.

Desirable

• Have built or supported a Zero trust environment.

What You Should Know About Our Operations

Our business is widespread, growing walnuts, almonds and bees in the Riverina Region in New South Wales, pecans in Moree and macadamias, avocados and mangoes in Bundaberg, Queensland.

Off the paddock, we operate nut processing and packing facilities in Leeton, Toowoomba and Bundaberg as well as fruit packing and processing in Bundaberg. In addition, our shared services teams (Finance, Sales, ESG, Safety and People & Culture) are located across all of our sites as well as the Brisbane, Melbourne and Griffith offices.
