Hyatt Place Melbourne Caribbean Park has set a new standard of accommodation located in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Ideally located for business and leisure travelers, the hotel boasts 171 stylish guestrooms and combines style and innovation to deliver casual hospitality and purposeful service in a smartly designed, high-tech and contemporary environment.

Featuring a restaurant, grab-and-go food market, bar, lobby lounge, 24-hour fitness center and flexible event space for up to 170 people.

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • A passion for food and beverage and the desire to work in a hotel environment;
  • Excellent personal presentation and attention to detail;
  • The ability to work a 7-day roster;
  • Strong communication and conversational skills and highly developed organizational skills;
  • The ability to think on your feet and a solution focused approach to problem solving;
  • A willingness to learn and grow and a willingness to go beyond to deliver service excellence for our guests, every time, every shift
  • Previous banquet serving experience;
  • A current RSA is advantageous
  • Eligibility to work in Australia.

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the F&B Team Leader and Manager with day to day operations with the guests in the restaurant, bar, lobby lounge and events
  • Ensuring professional and friendly service is provided to all guests.
  • Maintaining high service standards
  • Achieve and uphold a clean, safe and hygienic work environment.
  • Ensure a product of high quality and presentation.
  • The role requires the ability to move and lift up to 10kgs, standing, sitting and walking for extended periods of time.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or fast-paced environment
  • A current RSA certificate
  • A strong attention to detail and the desire to provide guests with a positive and genuine experience
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • You will need to have your own vehicle, as there is no public transport available in this area.
