About the role

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Dry Fire Supervisor to join our Sydney Service team. You'll lead and support testers, technicians and subcontractors delivering preventative and reactive fire maintenance across a range of sites.

This role is ideal for someone with proven supervisory experience in the Fire Industry - or for an experienced fire technician looking to step off the tools and take the next step into leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support fire testers, technicians, and subcontractors.
  • Plan, schedule and resolve challenges across jobs and small projects.
  • Assist with quoting and customer invoicing as required.
  • Manage stock requirements and allocate materials for upcoming jobs.
  • Identify training needs and provide coaching and development to field staff.
  • Liaise with Service Coordinators, Managers, and customers to ensure smooth delivery of services.

What we are looking for

  • Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen with a current NSW Drivers Licence.
  • Electrical trade background with supervisors licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Minimum 5 years of fire industry experience, with either:

i. proven leadership/supervisory experience, or

ii. strong technical knowledge of fire systems with readiness to step into leadership.

  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to Automatic Fire Detection and Alarm Systems.
  • Proficiency in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Prior SimPRO experience highly regarded.
  • As a condition of employment, you must undergo a working with children check, a police check, and a pre-employment medical.
