Total Connections is a well-established Australian company specialising in the mobile servicing and replacement of hydraulic and industrial hoses, fittings, and components. With our head office in Perth and regional branches in Port Hedland and Kalgoorlie, we support a wide range of industries including mining, construction, and transport.

Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician / Hydraulic Hose Technician to join our team servicing clients in Kalgoorlie.


About the Role

This is a hands-on field service role in a mining and industrial context. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Attending onsite breakdowns and performing hose replacements
  • Assembly and crimping of hydraulic hose assemblies
  • Installation of new systems on plant and equipment
  • Diagnosing hydraulic faults and performing minor repairs
  • Servicing of fire suppression systems
  • Using mobile systems for accurate job documentation and reporting
  • Supporting clients across mine sites, workshops, and mobile operations

Note: Training and development are available for applicants without industry-specific experience but with strong mechanical aptitude.


What We're Looking For

We're after proactive, reliable individuals who can work independently in remote environments and maintain high standards under pressure.

Required:

  • Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Good communication and customer service mindset
  • HR or MR class driver's licence
  • Construction White Card

Desirable:

  • Prior experience with hydraulic systems or hose and fittings
  • Exposure to mobile plant, drilling rigs, or mining equipment
  • Forklift licence or experience in fire suppression system servicing
