The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. In this position you will oversee one direct report and play a key role in managing financial operations across both Australian and U.S. entities.
You'll also support ongoing project work related to our U.S. business, making prior exposure to U.S. tax and payroll highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, managing 1 team member
- Manage month-end and year-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
- Support U.S. entity accounting requirements, including B2B/B2C transactions
- Assist with U.S. payroll and tax compliance (experience in U.S. tax highly advantageous)
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support ongoing projects
- Streamline processes and maintain accuracy across financial systems
About You
- CPA/CA qualified (or equivalent highly regarded)
- Proven experience as a Senior Accountant in a fast-paced retail or eCommerce environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems — Xero
- Experience or understanding of U.S. tax and payroll highly regarded
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
- A proactive, hands-on attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, female-led environment
