As a Machine Operator - Flexible Packaging, you will be responsible for producing high quality flexible packaging using the latest technology. To succeed you will have exceptional attention to detail and testing standards to ensure consistent quality throughout the job. As part of a small but growing team, you will be adaptable and mechanically minded to troubleshoot production issues.

More specifically your duties will include the following:

  • Safely operate pouch making machinery
  • Troubleshoot operator issues
  • Apply principles of quality control and test product
  • Undertake operator maintenance
  • Operate ancillary equipment as required

In determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in operating precision critical manufacturing equipment
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Skilled at finding and fixing operator faults
  • Skilled at machine specific operator maintenance
  • Previous flexible packaging or print industry experience will be highly regarded
