We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrician / Electrical Fitter to join our business on the day shift. The Electrical fitter is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repairs of all Processing and Packing Machinery within the site.

Qualifications & experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience, preferably in food industry but not essential
  • A Grade Electrical License
  • English (reading and writing) proficiency to year 10
  • Strong problem solving and electrical diagnosis essential and or programming (but not essential)

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Driving efficiencies through continuous improvement of electrical systems and controls.
  • Technical support for electrical/control issues.
  • Attending to breakdowns.
  • Project and continuous improvement work.
  • Manage, organize and plan work for contractors.
  • Undertake any other general duties of Electrical nature.
  • Perform work in accordance with all company policies, procedures, OHS and food safety practices.
