**Key points about this role**:

- Manage a team of 8 across 2 shifts on Stramit’s largest site
- Improve team performance through strong leadership, coaching, and a clear view of priorities
- Ensure compliance with the Safety System policy and procedures. Drive business safety improvement through leadership and achievement of safety lead and lag goals.
- Lead by example with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement
- Optimise maintenance activities to enable efficient operations, provide input, and identify solutions to maintenance issues
- Review all maintenance activities to maintain costs within planned levels
- Assist with and develop ideas for production improvement and assist in developing CAPEX proposals
- Ensure maintenance resources are well maintained in a safe, clean, and sound working condition.
- Adjust roll forming machines as required to ensure that machines are producing to specification. Assist production with abnormality control and problem-solving
- Monitor and control product output and work on improving product consistency and standardising work practices

**To be considered for this role, we need from you**:

- Extensive maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant in business operations
- Highest level of Safety focus, leading teams with this mindset
- Metal or Electrical Trade Certificate, and experience in Steel or Building products industry is highly desirable
- Experience with use of a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Demonstrated experience in engaging, developing, and leading high-performing teams to ensure success
- Collaborative, team player approach with fantastic communication and proactiveness
