**The Company**
Maintenance Fitter required to join our client based in Knoxfield, who are a market leading glass processor. With three processing plants across Australia (VIC, NSW and TAS) offering high performance insulated, laminated and fire resistant glass products. **The position requirements include, but are not limited to**:

- Troubleshooting, preventative & breakdown maintenance tasks
- Capital project works, welding/fabrication tasks & identifying opportunities for improvement
- Strictly following all required safety procedures

**To be considered for this role you will ideally possess the following**:

- A trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner
- Proven experience in an FMCG / industrial manufacturing environment
- A current forklift licence & electrical D licence - advantageous
- A solid understanding of GMP and 5S manufacturing principles
- A team player mentality with a positive, self motivated and proactive attitude
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with a high attention to detail
- Flexibility to work extra hours and perform ad hoc duties as required

**Hours & rates**
Afternoon shift hours: 2:30pm - 10:30pm

$47.13 per hour + 15% loading + overtime + super + RDO’s
