Airnorth are recruiting for a Maintenance Control Manager to join Airnorth Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) team. Based in our Perth office, this is a full-time position, reporting to the Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM). This role focuses on providing effective maintenance control management to ensure optimum safety, reliability and effectiveness of the Airnorth fleet maintenance control.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Ensure continuing airworthiness requirements of Airnorth fleet are met at all times.
  • Oversee compliant and efficient performance of the Fleet Maintenance Control Maintenance Program and Planning activities.
  • Provide to CAM timely information and reports on issues that affect maintenance plans. Coordination of maintenance planning to ensure effective maintenance control of the fleet
  • Management of CAMO department in the absence of CAM.
  • Management and coordination of major projects.
  • Provide technical support and analysis of key projects and proposals.
  • Provide contractual oversight of third party maintenance providers.
  • Co-ordination and management of all activities related to compliance and audit with respect to CASR 1998, associated MOS and the CAMO Exposition and Procedures Manual.
  • Liaise with Technical Services, Flight Operations, Network Operations and Engineering department heads to ensure coordination of CAMO activities to maximise aircraft availability and achieve safety, efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Who we are looking for:

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Licensed aircraft maintenance engineer with at least 10 years' aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Minimum 3 years proven track record of management within a Part 42 or Part 145 organisation.
  • Demonstrated thorough knowledge of the Civil Aviation Act and Regulations.
  • Ability to obtain CASA Instrument of Appointment covering Maintenance Control of the company fleet. Previous possession of CASA Instrument of appointment would be an advantage.
  • In depth working knowledge and experience of airworthiness management, aviation safety and reliability program.
  • Strong computer literacy and experience with MS Office suite, maintenance management software (TRAX, AMOS, IAS, Envision or similar) are essential.
  • High-level of communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate technical issues at all levels.
  • Possess strong administration skills, enthusiastic and maintain a professional appearance and manner.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
