The Paspaley Pearling Company Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced, versatile LAME to join the Darwin Engineering team in maintaining one of the most iconic aircraft in Australia: The Grumman G73AT - Mallard.

Providing essential support to the Pearling Fleet in the Kimberly region, as well as charter work in some of the Top Ends greatest destinations, the work we do is as unique as the aircraft itself: and that's what we want from you too This is a GA job that's anything but ordinary

Who are we looking for?

  • An experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

  • A positive attitude

  • Well-developed Sheet Metal Skills (highly desirable)

  • Experienced painter

  • Excellent communications skills, great problem-solving skills

  • A practical problem-solver with a good sense of humour

  • Someone who is highly motivated and has a passion for aviation

About the Role

Your duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • The Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of Aircraft within the company Fleet.

  • Conduct aircraft maintenance and certify for the maintenance in accordance with approved data & procedures

  • Maintain a safe work environment

  • Communicate with the chief engineer, the maintenance control team and the business manager to ensure positive lines of communication
