Tell me about this role:

We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Test and Evaluation Manager/Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing and reporting on Test and Evaluation (T&E) activities. This role will be conducting T&E activities for cutting edge Defence cyber technologies. A strong testing background in Defence, along with Systems Engineering and Cyber knowledge will see you be successful in this role

This is a permanent opportunity located in Canberra. Interested candidates must be Australian citizens with an active NV1/NV2 clearance.

What will I be doing day to day?

  • Execute Test Procedures and accurate recording of results.
  • Analyse test results and report test outcomes to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Prepare Test Plans, Test Reports, Failure and Analysis Reports and any other necessary documentation to ensure that all the requirements to be verified are captured
  • Co-ordinate and support Acceptance Test Readiness Reviews (ATRR) and Test events
  • Assist Senior Engineers in preparation and updating of Test Management policy

What sort of skills do I need?

  • Australian government and or Defence experience
  • Knowledge of AT&E processes, methodologies and conduct in the Defense environment.
  • Proficient with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Certified SAFe Practitioner (Desirable)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
