About Us:

The Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) delivers a trusted justice and community safety system that works together to build a just, safe, and resilient Victoria. The Integrity and Investigations branch oversees fraud and corruption prevention and investigations, technology-led detection and analysis, engagement with integrity agencies and DJCS's integrity culture program.

About the Role:

The Senior Investigator reports to the Senior Manager, Integrity and Corruption Investigations (ICI).

Some of your duties with include:

  • Assist and support the management and delivery of the department's fraud and corruption investigation and integrity regime.
  • Providing subject matter expertise to advise stakeholders throughout the department on corruption and integrity matters
  • Initiating and building positive relationships with peers, senior managers and stakeholders.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience in undertaking complex and sensitive investigations, consistent with relevant legislative and industrial requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills to build effective relationships.
  • High-level written communication and experience in developing complex documentation.
