We're seeking a Garden Maintenance Manager who can balance on-site leadership with strong organisational and client management skills. You'll lead by example, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service — with no weekend or night work.

What You'll Do & Who You Are

  • Lead, train, and support your gardening team across multiple sites.
  • Manage daily operations — quoting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all works.
  • Solve problems quickly and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and grow services.
  • Hands-on approach — you're not afraid to join the team on the tools when needed.
  • A confident communicator who motivates, organises, and leads by example.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar leadership role within landscaping, gardening, or grounds maintenance.
  • Certificate or qualification in Landscaping and/or Horticulture (required).
  • Proven leadership skills — leading by example, not from behind a desk.
  • Strong quoting, scheduling, and budgeting skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • A solutions-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites, priorities, and teams effectively.
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team.
  • Familiarity with financial targets, cost management, and client satisfaction metrics.
  • A genuine passion for training, mentoring, and developing people.
