About the role

As a Truck Driver at Designer Concrete Coatings', you will play a crucial role in the efficient delivery and distribution of our innovative concrete coating solutions from Bankstown across the Sydney Metro NSW region. What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating and maintaining various truck models including Hiab crane deliveries to transport steel reinforcing and decorative concrete coating materials to customer sites.
  • Adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies to ensure the secure delivery of goods.
  • Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials at our branches and customer locations.
  • Maintaining detailed records of deliveries and providing excellent customer service.
  • Collaborating with the logistics team to optimize delivery schedules and routes.
  • Performing regular pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance on assigned vehicles.

What we're looking for

  • Valid medium rigid (MR) driver's license.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar truck driving role within the road transport industry.
  • Strong knowledge of road rules and safety practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends, as required.
