About us:

HiQ is a proudly Australian-owned family business operating across NSW, Victoria, and Queensland. We specialise in resource recycling, landfills, waste treatment, quarry operations, and transport logistics.

We're currently looking for a skilled and motivated Truck and Quad / Truck and Quin Driver to join our team based at Cecil Park, working on a variety of local and regional hauls.

About the role:

You'll operate a Truck & Dog combination vehicle to deliver bulk materials . This role requires strong compliance, flexibility with changing schedules, and a customer-first mindset. You'll be supported by a professional and safety-focused team and operate a well-maintained fleet.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Completing prestart and other operational checklists and administrative paperwork
  • Complying with fatigue management and road rules and regulations
  • Complying with mass management as per NHVR guidelines
  • Delivering loads to customers both internal and external in a professional and timely manner

Tipping experience is essential. If you don't have tipping experience driving Truck and Dogs, please do not apply.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have a current MC Licence with proven Truck and Dog tipping experience (essential)
  • Be confident operating Road Ranger gearboxes and automatic
  • Willing to stay in the truck overnight for regional and interstate jobs
  • Able to pass a company driver competency test
  • Have a construction industry white card
  • Have a clean driving record - Able to supply a current driving record from Service NSW
  • Be Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) trained (preferred)
  • Be computer literate – confident with Samsung tablet, truck scales & Electronic Work Diary
  • Have clear communication and work as part of a team.
  • Able to complete a pre-employment medical (including Drug & Alcohol & Fitness to Drive)
  • Take pride in their truck – keeps the cab clean and tidy
