Finance Analyst

Well-Established Australian Services Business | Sydney

6-8 month Part-Time contract.

As a Finance Analyst, you'll play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting decision-making across the organisation. This role will see you working closely with senior stakeholders, providing meaningful analysis, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to business leaders
  • Assist with components of month-end close, including journal postings
  • Prepare and deliver management reporting packs
  • Partner with non-financial stakeholders to provide clear financial insights and guidance
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across reporting and analysis

About You:

  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial/management reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • CA/CPA qualified or currently studying (advantageous)
